Additional Information

Installing the CGU VPN allows staff and faculty to remotely access on-campus only network resources such as Network File Shares using any Windows computer, either personal or CGU issued.

Procedure

1. In any browser you like navigate to https://vpn.claremont.edu
2. Once there you will see a window like the one below. Select the Group dropdown menu and select the profile you are assigned to and then select "Login".

3. You should now be directed to a Microsoft Login window where you will enter in your email address, password and satisfy MFA.
4. Once authenticated you will be directed to a page to download the software. Please select the download button and then run the executable after it finishes.

5. Open the downloaded AnyConnect VPN .dmg file from your Downloads folder, and then open the .pkg file inside.

6. Click Continue if you are prompted with an expired certificate warning.

7. Click Continue on the Introduction screen.

8. Click Continue again on the License screen.

9. Agree to the License Agreement.

10. Click Install on the Installation Type screen.

11. Click Close after the installer has finished.

13. You will be prompted if you want to delete the installer, click Move to Trash.
