Add media from OneDrive [Instructor Only]
When editing in Canvas, place your cursor in the location for your embedded media to appear. Then, click on the plug-shaped Apps button in the rich content editor's toolbar.
The Apps button may show the Microsoft Education app. If so, click to open. If not, you will click on "View All," and then locate Microsoft Education from the pop-up window and select it. (If this is your first time utilizing Microsoft Education, you may be required to complete some verification steps.)
Once you have selected the Microsoft Education app, a new popup window will open where you can select from Microsoft applications including OneDrive. Locate the media file that you wish to embed in the course. Select it, and then click on the "Embed" button. The window will close and your media will begin to load into Canvas.
Once you save your edits in Canvas, the students who are actively enrolled in your course will be able to watch the video and use the playback features (make full-screen, rewind, pause, etc.). Students may be asked to log in to their CGU Microsoft account the first time that they access media in your Canvas site.
