SLDL Distribution List Updates

(Student Life, Diversity and Leadership, International Student email lists)

Note: these are not Lyris lists, they're distribution lists in AD.

Data comes from the PeopleSoft query SR_IPLACE_LIST_ACTIVE

internationalstudents@cgu.edu - remove students based on two criteria:

1) Citizenship = Unknown

2) Visa Type = DAC

sevis.international@cgu.edu - include students in query based on two criteria:

1) VisaPermit Type = F1 or J1

2) VistaPermit Status = Active or Initial

Updates to these lists will likely be done a couple of times during the semester to ensure the lists are up-to-date.

When SLDL wants to update the students in the Distribution Lists, the lists are created from PeopleSoft then given to Network Services. The existing lists are purged and repopulated with the new data.

If SLDL requests any changes to how the lists work, that should be done in PeopleSoft via the SQL criteria and then new lists generated.
