You don't have to clear your browser cache as part of everyday maintenance but there are good reasons for doing it once in awhile.
- It will force the browser to load the newest copies of web pages available (which should occur automatically but occasionally doesn't).
- It can solve problems such as 404 or 502 errors and loading issues.
- It can remove malware.
- It will free up space on your hard drive.
Clearing browser cache is easy to do in most browsers used today.
To quickly pull up the "cache clearing" or "browsing data" dialogue, use Ctrl+Shift+Del on Windows or Command+Shift+Delete on a Mac.
